Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 19 November 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to ReMeLife. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ReMeLife platform, including our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

ReMeLife is operated by ReMeLife DAO, a Wyoming-based decentralized autonomous organization. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ReMeLife.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, accessing the Platform, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. ReMeLife reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove or edit content at our sole discretion.

4. CAPs and REME Tokens

4.1 CAPs (Community Action Points)

CAPs are non-transferable digital credits earned passively by users through engagement with ReMeLife's apps and modules. CAPs have no monetary value and cannot be directly exchanged for fiat currency within the ReMeLife platform.

4.2 REME Tokens

CAPs may be converted into REME tokens, which are utility tokens used within the ReMeLife ecosystem to:

  • Redeem discounts in the ReMe Market
  • Pay platform-related fees and gas costs
  • Access premium features and services

REME tokens are not offered directly for fiat conversion within the ReMeLife platform, but may be traded externally via third-party exchanges. ReMeLife is not responsible for the value, trading, or availability of REME tokens on external platforms.

4.3 KYC Requirements

To comply with applicable Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") and financial crime regulations, ReMeLife may require you to complete identity verification (Know Your Customer, or "KYC") before you can convert CAPs to REME or access other regulated financial features.

Identity verification may include government-issued ID, proof of address and sanctions screening, as described on our Compliance page. You are not required to complete KYC simply to browse the website or use non-regulated features of the Platform. If you choose to use features that require KYC, you agree to provide accurate information and documentation for that purpose.

⚠️ 5. Risk Warning

REME tokens are utility tokens used within the ReMeLife ecosystem. They are not regulated financial instruments.

Purchasing or converting CAPs to REME involves risk, including the potential loss of value. The value of REME tokens may fluctuate significantly, and you may lose all or part of your investment.

This website does not constitute financial advice or an offer to UK residents. Users should consult a regulated advisor before engaging in any crypto-related activity.

ReMeLife does not offer investment services and is not authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Platform and services you use, operate Care2Earn and rewards features, comply with legal, regulatory and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

KYC/AML data is retained for a minimum of 5 years where required by applicable regulations. Where possible, we will delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed for these purposes, subject to any legal or contractual retention requirements.

6.5 Data and Content Rights

Nothing in these Terms transfers to ReMeLife any ownership rights that you have in the content or personal data you submit to the Platform. Subject to applicable law, you retain whatever rights you hold in that content and data.

By using the Platform, you grant ReMeLife a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, reproduce, display and otherwise process your content and personal data solely:

  • to provide, maintain and improve the Platform and related services;
  • to operate Care2Earn, referral and rewards features (including CAP and REME accounting);

  • where you explicitly opt in, to generate anonymised or aggregated insights for research, reporting or ecosystem analytics.

You can stop granting this licence at any time by deleting your content or closing your account, except to the extent we are required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory or security reasons, or where we continue to use anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

Your rights in relation to your personal data, including access and deletion rights where applicable, are further described in our Privacy Policy.

  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Engage in market manipulation or fraudulent activities
  • Use the Platform for money laundering or illegal purposes

8. Referral Program

ReMeLife operates a referral program where users can earn rewards by inviting others to join the Platform. Referral rewards are subject to the following conditions:

  • Referrals must be genuine and not artificially generated
  • ReMeLife reserves the right to audit referral activities
  • Fraudulent referrals may result in account suspension and forfeiture of rewards
  • Rewards are distributed at ReMeLife's discretion and may be modified or discontinued

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and trademarks, is the property of ReMeLife or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.

10. Compliance and Regulatory

ReMeLife is committed to maintaining compliance with international crypto regulations, including those of the UK, EU, US, and other jurisdictions. ReMeLife does not promote REME tokens to residents of countries where such promotions are restricted.

Users are responsible for determining whether their use of the Platform complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction. ReMeLife reserves the right to restrict access to the Platform based on geographic location.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REMELIFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

ReMeLife is not responsible for the loss or theft of your account credentials, REME tokens, or CAPs. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

12. Modifications to Terms

ReMeLife reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Platform and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page to reflect the date the new version takes effect. Where appropriate, we may also provide additional notice (for example, by email or in-app notification). Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

ReMeLife may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or misuse of the Platform. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform will immediately cease, and we may disable access to your account-level features, including any CAP balances and referral tools associated with your account.

Termination of your account does not affect your ownership of REME tokens or other digital assets that you hold in self-custodied wallets outside the Platform. However, in limited circumstances required by law or regulation (for example, suspected money laundering or sanctions breaches), we may be required to freeze or restrict on-platform balances or conversions in accordance with applicable rules.
