The Elephant Man (1980)
Actually a British-American historical drama film, The Elephant Man was about Joseph Merrick (also known as John Merrick) who was a severely deformed man living in late 19th-century London. Starring John Hurt, Anthony Hopkins, Anne Bancroft and John Gielgud the film was shot in black and white featured make-up work by Christopher Tucker.
