East Anglian-based chartered accountants Price Bailey is finishing its partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK on a high after two employees trekked up five volcanoes and pushed the firm’s fundraising total to more than £73,000.

Luke Adams, 26, and Rhys Holton, 25, who are both accountants at Price Bailey (pictured above), joined a team of 18 intrepid explorers on a five-day trek to Guatemala to raise money for the UK’s leading dementia research charity. Despite the tough walking conditions and limited food, the pair conquered the challenge and raised £7,000 for dementia research.

This was one of the final fundraising activities as part of Price Bailey’s two-year partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK. Employees at the firm got involved in lots of events to fund pioneering dementia research and raise awareness of the condition, including fancy dress charity days and gruelling sporting challenges.
